I have successfully downloaded the app but there is no sound.

Please be certain that the volume is up and the mute function has not been turned on.
If you’ve been running several apps, there might be a conflict if more than one uses sound as much as our apps do. Please close all open apps (including Hooked on Phonics) and re-launch.
Assuming your sound settings are ok, this might have been a download problem. This happens from time to time because the app is gigantic (sorry… tons of content) and the sound files load last. So, if there is even a slight Wi-Fi interruption during the download, and the sound files don’t finish loading, the sound does not work. To fix it, you’ll have to completely delete the app from the device and re-download it.
If possible, please move as close to your Wi-Fi wireless access point as you can get to get the strongest possible signal before you re-start the download. This usually helps. Don’t worry… anything you purchased is still yours and will be available when you re-install as long as you use the same username.
